I love this product! If your dog suffers from pain of any kind, you have to try it. ‘RecoverySA’ is an incredible healing agent for pain and injury for all your small companion animals.
What is ‘Recovery SA’?
Recovery SA (SA meaning ‘Small Animal’) is a pain and healing product that contains Nutricol® ‘a proprietary combination of proven ingredients extracted from grapes and tea’.
Here’s how it works; When you put grape seed and green tea extracts together, (grape seed extracts are very different then the whole grape, and has been used safely on dogs for 20 years), they search the entire body for any damaged cells. Once they find them, they repair them as best as they can. So essentially, these natural components will enhance any healing your dog needs to do. Recovery also contains Glucosamine and MSM, dietary pain supplements.
Why would I give RecoverySA to my dog?
If your dog is suffering from any of the following pain issues, this product might be exactly what your pooch needs:
- back/joint pain
- lameness/hock pain
- wound healing/surgery
- Stifle (knee) pain
- hip dysplasia
Are there any side effects?
Not only are there no side effects, if your pet is on any medications Recovery will not interfere. And not only will it not interfere, it’ll actually enhance the effectiveness of the medications. So it’s a win-win!
How much does it cost and where do I buy it?
The price will vary slightly I’m sure. But it should range from around $25 for 150g to $100 for 1kg. And from there, depending on the size/breed of your dog, it’ll depend how much you give them a day.
Here is a link to where to buy. But since it’s such a popular product there are lots of small dog boutiques that carry it. Maybe contact your favorite one and see if they have any in stock. If they don’t, perhaps a suggestion from you would convince them to bring it in!
How do I give it to my dog?
It comes in a powder or treat form. The powder is a little cheaper. So if your dog isn’t too picky, simply mix the powder in with their food daily. If you have a persnickety dog who turns their nose to anything ‘out of the norm’, I highly recommend the treat option. They’re liver flavored and I’ve never seen a dog turn their nose up at it.
I’m not gonna lie, I’m a huge advocate of this product. I’ve taken it
upon myself to write this blog-post. The company, Recovery, has no idea I’m writing it and has no influence on my opinion. Yes, I do own a retail health food store for dogs and I do sell this product. Of all the products I’ve brought in over the years, this one is my favorite. I have nothing bad to say about it. I’ve used it on my own dogs and seen incredible results. But more so, I’ve had dozens and dozens of people over the years come in and tell me stories about how amazing the before and after with their own dog is. Here are some testimonials from Recovery’s website.
